Roanoke Comicon

The show went well.  Got to discuss my comics, and meet a lot of people.  Sold some stuff of course, and bought some stuff of course.  Its a drive to get to Roanoke, but I have been doing the show for years and it has been good to me.

Next weekend is NC Comicon in Durham, also a good show.  It is a lot bigger with a lot more people and stuff.  I need a week to prepare.

conventions past and future

So I did the third annual Fayetteville Comicon and had a great show.  Sales were really big for me and set a personal record.  I don't really like going into money and figures, but it is encouraging (and always nice when you make money on a show to pay for the next ones).  Speaking of the next ones...

Upcoming show in Roanoke VA on 11/04.  Its a good show that I have been doing for years, since I started doing shows.  Its always been good to me and I look forward to going back.

After that a have two more weekends of consecutive shows, Durham and Seymour Johnson Airforce Base.  Quite a lot of stuff coming up, hope to see lots of people.

T shirts

Met a couple of guys at my local comic book shop who asked about the tshirt I was wearing.  It was one of my designs.  Here is the link to my teepublic page where you too can own one of my tshirt designs.

Haven't posted in a while

Been taking it easy.  Only doing a few shows lately, spending more time at home.  I have Fayetteville coming up in Oct, Roanoke and Durham in Nov.  Doing a good amount of drawing, sketch covers and Cartoon Cosplays.

Haven't remembered to post more, that slips my mind.

So, issue 14 is finished.  Sent it off to the printer (Ka-Blam, they are awesome) last night.  I will have copies for the Winston Salem Comic Con (Sept 2nd).  It is the conclusion of the BOOTOOTH SAGA which has been in full swing since issue 9.  Really pleased about that.

Here is the cover.  It is really cool.

Had a One day show in Statesville, NC last weekend.  It went really well.  I tend to like the smaller shows, people will stop and look more since they don't have to get around such a big room.  My next show is Aug 5th on Greenville, NC.  Another one I hope will be as good.
